ORGANISATION TYPES

AUDIT	Audit and Review Body. This organisation has been assessed in accordance with ISO 17021 and has met the criteria for accreditation to a significant degree without compromise to its auditing ad reviewing competency. Typical client needs are those where verification of adequacy in meeting the requirements of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 family of standards is required.
CERTIFYING	Certification Body. This type of organisation has been assessed in accordance with ISO 17021 and has met the criteria for accreditation in all sections of the standard. Typical client needs are those where assessment and certification toISO 9001 and14001 family of standards is required.
LABORATORY	Test and Calibration Laboratory. This type of organisation has been assessed in accordance with ISO 17020 and has met the criteria for accreditation in all sections of the standard.
INSPECTION	Inspection Body. This type of organisation has been assessed in accordance with ISO 17025 and has met the criteria for accreditation in all sections of the standard.
PRODUCT	Product Certifier. This type of organisation has been assessed in accordance with EN 45011 and has met the criteria for accreditation in all sections of the standard.
TRAINING INSTITUTE	Training Institute. This type of organisation has been assessed in accordance with ASCB(E) guide ASB(G)8 and has met the criteria for accreditation in all sections. Typical training courses are those associated with Quality SAssurance such as Auditor and Lead Auditor training and Six Sigma development.
