The QBSA Sporting & Business Club is what its name implies. It is a club of QBSA members that meet informally at sporting and business events. A key feature of the club, in which all members are automatically entitled to participate, is that attendance at the functions and events managed by QBSA and other organizations are either free of charge or are subsidized by the QBSA Membership to a defined value of "club points".
Each member, depending upon grade is automatically awarded Club Points each year. These points may be used to purchase items either through the QBSA site Market Place facility or elsewhere if featured in the QBSA club calendar.
Some members may 'bank' their club points for a period of up to two further years depending upon grade. i.e. Policy organizations 2 years, Sponsor organizations 1 year with Affiliate organizations & individual members having their allocation valid for registered year of membership only. Thereafter the benefit is rescinded.
Club points may be transferred between members of the Alliance but still have to be used within the time allocated. In addition points may be used to support guests of members at events provided a member is present and hosting the guest at all times.
Members are automatically awarded the following number of club points for each year of membership.
QBSA will provide members with details of planned and proposed activities. Typically these are Golf or other sporting days, or seminars on quality and related issues.
If you wish to propose an event or a subject for inclusion within the Sporting and Business Club activity please do so. Our only constraint is that other members of the club must have equal opportunity to participate and at least two other members should actually do so.
Points have a nominal value of .001p and the number of points allocated to events or products is at the sole discretion of the membership director.
Points are rescinded on termination of membership.
